On November 20, 2018 at approximately 1:55 AM, the suspect pulled up to Pet Value at 1235 Fairview Street in Burlington driving a beige or tan older model Plymouth Breeze. The suspect exited the vehicle and used a large rock to break the glass window. He then entered the business through the opening and immediately attended the front counter where he reached over and pulled the cash register out of the drawer, however, there was no cash in it.
The suspect then attended various locations in the business in attempt to find cash without success. However, he did flee the business with a metal box
The suspect was wearing all black clothing with a hoodie covering their head and had a white scarf-like mask over his face with only his eyes showing, black gloves with a blue logo and light grey socks over his shoes to cover his footprints.
The suspect was inside the store for approximately 2 minutes and it appears he was only looking for cash and change.
Police are asking anyone who has information on this break and enter or the suspects to contact Burlington Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4747 ext. 2316.
