WANTED AS OF: January 13, 2017
Milton Offender Management Unit is searching for Luigi GIURISSEVICH, 55 years, of Burlington.


It is week #2 of our Fugitive Friday initiative wherein the Halton Regional Police Service reaches out to the public to help locate wanted persons and hold them accountable for their actions.

There are numerous people who continue to evade police and the court system and live out in our communities while having a warrant for their arrest in place.

Every Friday, Halton Regional Police Service’s Offender Management Unit will share information on a wanted person in hopes that members of the public can assist in locating the individual.

Fugitive Friday information is publicized on our website and via social media (i.e. Twitter and Facebook).

In this edition of Fugitive Friday for 2017 the 1 District, Milton Offender Management Unit is searching for Luigi GIURISSEVICH, 55 years, of Burlington.

It is alleged:

- In August of 2016 GIURISSEVICH was at the Milton Mall where he was observed by mall security in an intoxicated state.
- GIURISSEVICH was confronted by mall security when he attempted to drive away from the area. 
- In the process, the security officer was assaulted by GIURISSEVICH.
- GIURISSEVICH was a disqualified driver at the time of the offence
- GIURISSEVICH has since failed to appear for his court dates.
- GIURISSEVICH’s whereabouts are unknown at this time.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

He is now wanted by Halton Regional Police Service for:

Impaired Driving
Over 80 mgs of alcohol
Drive Disqualified
Fail to Appear

GIURISSEVICH is described as 5’7”, 155 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.

He is known to frequent Milton, Burlington, Oakville and the surrounding areas.
